Well,we have started to get back into the swing of things.It might have felt like we had come off the rails moving from Sydney back to London with no job's in site or a home but in just over 3 weeks we have secured a flat and employment. Not that it came lightly as per the blogs below. We shared lots of tears but we hope things are now on the up.We are both working back in the financial sector but not in Canary Wharf as we hoped but in the city. We both thought we could secure roles in the new financial district but this didn't happen and we now have to commute from our flat on the isle of dogs back into the city. We might have to rethink where we want to permanently settle at the end of the year and move closer in. Anyway enough whinging. Thank God its Friday and the weekend is here. Can't wait to get home tonight and have a glass of wine/Beer and put the feet up.
We have decided to go exploring tomorrow and catch a train from Waterloo to Winchester. We have heard it's like taking a step back intime to ancient buildings and cathedrals and great pubs to drink the afternoon away in.So hopefully the rain stays away and we get to enjoy the England we love. Can't wait… will let you know how it all goes and hopefully have a picture or two.
P.s been getting into Wimbledon again and keep checking the scores on the BBC while at work.(ooohh naughty)
