London Walks - Covent Garden to Picadilly Circus

Taking a chance with the weather, we grabbed the opportunity to explore Covent Garden. On our way there we noticed our first electric car, parked in Wellington St, sitting there, quitely charging away. I know electric cars have been on the road a while, mostly milk trucks and small utility vehicles, but this one was the first i've seen charging up in the centre of town.

Covent Garden looked remarkably Christmassy. In the square sat a cluster of giant Christmas baubles. We wandered round the square and up and down the various streets surrounding the area, past the tube station, down Neals street and slowly back around and into Leicester Square. We sat in the centre of the square, next to Charlie Chaplin, and watched the world go by, then had lunch at Eds Diner (who make a mean milkshake). Next stop was down to Picadilly Circus, and into Jermyn Street, then into Picadilly Arcade and into Fortnum & Masons.
