We share the news of our fond friends, David & Chantelle Sammut:
To our loved ones and our friends, to the whole world we express our joy!
At three hours and twenty five minutes past the meridian came into this
world a beautiful little boy, and the world became just a little bit
brighter. William Henry Sammut became the newest Australian for proud
parents, weighing a healthy 3.06kg (6lbs 12oz in the old scale) and
measuring a hefty 52.5cm long and 35cm around the head (perhaps the
most important measurement). Chantelle weathered the labour with stoicism and grace, reaching only for the gas towards the very end - just imagine Clint Eastwood with
breasts, only tougher: a firm jaw and even firmer resolve. And William
entered the world to this hearty exclamation (to the obstetrician):
"WHY THE *&#@ DIDN'T YOU TELL ME I WAS HAVING A BABY?!!"
