Once a year, the Temple area of London is open to the public to explore the deep 820 year history and tradition of this interesting site. Our only awareness of this site was, sadly, through the Da Vinci code by Dan Brown, which featured the Temple Church, home of the tombs of the Knights Templar (monastic military order founded in 1118). In 1185 they built this church which still survives today.
