We're eyeing out a flat in the Barbican, which, if we secure it, will place us within walking distance to our jobs, and at a lower rent than we currently pay. We are learning more and more about the Barbican every day. I used to work behind it, in Golden Lane for a couple of years, and skirted round the complex to and from work each day. There is so much about this very large site, that I'm unable to explain it, but it includes a lake, a ancient section of the original London Roman wall, a very old church, a music library, a theatre complex, shops, dentist, doctor, tennis courts, a lovely common, and much much more. Lets see if we can eliminate our commute!
