Barbican Grounds

We explored the grounds of the Barbican and took a close look at the music library. Neither of us were feeling particularly well and I was rather sick the night before, so work took a back seat for both of us, and we just took the time out to get to know the area more. Firstly, we explored the private inner courtyard, with its beautiful trees mid fall, and then past the duck pond and through the private gate to the Barbican centre. From there we explored the library, with its massive music section, complete with listening rooms and musical instruments for use. Then explored some small restaurants dotted around, marking them out for future visits. Then it was into St Giles church, and back for a hot chocolate. At about 14 degrees, it was fresh on the face.
