We returned again to Greenwich on Sunday to look through the markets. After a coffee it's such a fun thing to do, to wander aimlessly around, staring at the eclectic mix of things on display, from clocks, chairs, old world war 2 bikes, old records, retro clothes, watches and jewelry. There do actually seem to be some genuinely interesting objects, mixed in with the standard stuff you generally see in such markets, and some good bargains to boot! On Friday night we caught up with some friends at Cafe Rouge in Canary Wharf. This place gets sooo packed on a Friday night, when all the city workers spill out into the surrounding bars. We wound our way through the crowds to the restaurant and managed to get a good seat by the window.
